Glenn Haines was nominated this year by the Town of Baldwin Selectmen and received the
2020 Spirit of America award. Glenn is an outstanding citizen who has served the Baldwin
community in numerous ways. He is a proud father of one son and one daughter and husband to
Norma Haines.

In addition to Glenn’s service to the Town of Baldwin and surrounding community, he also
served his country. Glenn is a retired Coast Guard Captain. He served during the Grenada invasion
and Exxon Valdez oil spill in Alaska.
